If you need additional help, our After Sales team at Escape Trailer will be happy to assist you. You can submit a support ticket using this form.

1. Locate the termination valve

  • Go to the driver’s side of the trailer.

  • Find the termination valve assembly (where you dump the tanks).

  • Remove the cap by twisting it off.

2. Get the sewer hose

  • Find your sewer hose in:

    • The bumper, or

    • The sewer hose storage tube underneath.

  • Identify the end with the fitting.

3. Attach the sewer hose

  • Line up the hose fitting with the studs on the valve.

  • Push it on and twist to lock it in place.

  • Important: Give the hose a firm tug to make sure it’s securely attached (prevents leaks/mess).

4. Place the hose in the dump station

  • Put the other end of the hose into the sewer/dump inlet.

  • Wear gloves to keep your hands clean.

5. Drain the black tank (first)

  • Find the black tank handle.

  • Pull it open.

  • Let it drain completely.

  • Close the valve when finished.

6. Drain the gray tank (second)

  • Find the gray tank handle.

  • Pull it open.

  • Let it drain completely.

  • Close the valve when finished.

(Tip: Doing gray second helps rinse out the hose.)

7. Rinse the hose (optional but recommended)

  • After disconnecting the hose:

    • Use clean water (from a hose or exterior shower) to rinse inside the sewer hose.

  • This keeps things cleaner for storage.

8. Store everything

  • Put the sewer hose back in its storage area.

  • Reattach the termination cap:

    • Line it up and twist to lock it back on.

Quick Tips

  • Always wear gloves.

  • Always double-check hose connections.

  • Always dump black first, gray second.
