1. Look at the side of the tire.

  • Tire specifications are printed directly on the tire’s sidewall.

2. Find the tire size and rim size.

  • On the sidewall, locate the numbers and letters that indicate the tire type and rim size.

3. Locate the tire ply rating.

  • Near the size information, you can also find the ply rating (the lettering may be small).

4. Find the tire speed rating.

  • Along the side of the tire, look for the speed range/speed rating.

5. Check the tire’s manufacturing date.

  • The date of manufacture is also stamped on the tire sidewall.

6. Use the trailer decal for easier reference.

  • For convenience, the following key information is also printed on a decal on the front driver’s side of the trailer:

    • Tire size

    • Recommended PSI (tire pressure)

  • Use the decal when needed.
    If you need to:
    • Buy a replacement tire, or
    • Check the correct PSI
