How do I operate my MaxxAir Fan?

  1. Locate the Max Fan

    • The fan is directly above you. Familiarize yourself with the controls around it.

  2. Unlock the Vent

    • Find the knob in the corner.

    • Pull the knob down to unlock the vent.

    • Use the legend near the knob to guide you on which way to turn to open or close the vent.

    • Open the vent to your desired distance. (It’s domed, so rain won’t easily enter.)

  3. Turn the Fan On

    • Locate the On/Off button in the corner.

    • Press it to power the fan.

    • The fan will start at the last speed it was set to.

  4. Adjust Air Direction

    • Find the In/Out button next to the power button.

    • Press it to change the direction of the fan blades:

      • In: pulls air into the trailer

      • Out: pushes air out of the trailer

    • The fan will automatically slow down before changing direction for safety.

  5. Set Temperature Hold (Optional)

    • Use the Hold/Set button to try to maintain room temperature by pulling air in or pushing air out.

    • Note: It may not perfectly maintain the temperature.

  6. Adjust Fan Speed

    • Use the “+” and “–” buttons to increase or decrease the fan speed.

    • Maximum speed is noticeable but not too loud.

    • Adjust to a comfortable level for your current climate.

  7. Turn the Fan Off

    • Press the On/Off button again when finished.

  8. Close and Lock the Vent

    • Close the vent fully.

    • Push the corner knob up to lock it for travel.
