How do I set up and sue my compressor fridge (temperature, freezer, and night mode)?

1. Understand the Layout

  • The fridge has two compartments:

    • Top: Refrigerator section

    • Bottom: Freezer section

  • The freezer divider/door can be adjusted to create more space in the front or back.

 

2. Turn the Fridge On

  • Locate the power button on the top control panel.

  • Lightly press and hold it with your finger.

    • It’s touch-sensitive (like a phone), so don’t press hard.

    • If it doesn’t respond, warm your fingers slightly and try again.

 

3. Set the Fridge Temperature

  • Look for the bar display (1–5 bars):

    • 1 bar = least cold

    • 5 bars = coldest

  • To adjust:

    • Press and hold the display until it blinks.

    • Tap the bar level you want.

  • Recommended setting:

    • Start at 3 bars.

    • Let the fridge run empty for 8–24 hours before adding food.

    • Adjust to 4 bars if it’s not cold enough after loading.

 

4. Set the Freezer Temperature

  • Look for the snowflake icons (1–3):

    • 1 snowflake = least cold

    • 3 snowflakes = coldest (best for ice cream, frozen foods)

  • To adjust:

    • Press and hold until the display blinks.

    • Tap the number of snowflakes you want.

 

5. Turn the Freezer Off (Optional)

  • Useful for saving power if you don’t need the freezer.

    • Press and hold until the display blinks.

    • Tap the stop-sign icon.

    • All snowflakes will turn off → freezer is now off.

  • To turn it back on:

    • Press and hold until it blinks.

    • Tap any snowflake to reactivate.

 

6. Use Night Mode (Quieter Operation)

  • Find the crescent moon icon on the right.

  • Press and hold until the display blinks.

  • Tap the moon icon:

    • It lights up → Night Mode ON

  • What it does:

    • Runs the compressor quieter

    • Uses less power at a time, but may run longer (not necessarily more efficient overall)

  • To turn off Night Mode:

    • Press and hold until it blinks.

    • Tap the moon again → light turns off.

 

7. Turn the Fridge Off

  • Press and hold the power button again.

  • The unit will shut down.
