How to Open the Storage Box

Locate the two latches on the outside of the storage box.

One latch is on the driver’s side.
-
One latch is on the passenger’s side.
-

Release the outer latch on one side.
-
Pull or disengage the outer latch.

This will also release the inner latch attached to it.

Repeat on the other side.
-
Disengage the outer latch so the inner latch releases there as well.

Lift the lid.
-
Raise the lid of the storage box.

A strut will automatically hold the lid open.

Important Things to Know Before Using the Storage Box

Maximum weight limit: 100 pounds.
-
Do not exceed 100 lbs, or the box may be damaged.

Not fully weather-sealed:
-
The box does not have a full weather seal, especially in the corners.

There are drain holes at the bottom to let water escape.

What to store inside:
-
Store items that are water-resistant or okay getting wet, such as:

Wheel chocks
-
Hoses
-
Camp chairs
-
Other durable outdoor gear

How to Close the Storage Box
-
Pull the handle on the strut.
-
This releases the support strut and allows the lid to close.

Lower the lid.
-
Secure the inner latch first.

Place the inner latch catch over the small latch on the lid.

Engage the outer latch.
-
Pull the outer latch over the inner latch until it locks into place.

Repeat on the other side.
-
Always secure inner latch first, then outer latch.

Optional Security
-
The latch includes a small slot for a lock.

You can add a small padlock or tie to keep the storage box closed.
