How do my stabilizer jacks work?

1. Locate the Stabilizer Jacks

Your trailer has four stabilizer jacks, one at each corner:

Front driver’s side
-
Front passenger side
-
Rear driver’s side
-
Rear passenger side
-
2. Get the Hand Crank
-
Use the ¾-inch stabilizer jack crank provided with the trailer.

Important:
-
Do NOT use a power drill.
-
Using a drill can void the warranty on the stabilizer jacks.

3. Position the Crank

Place the crank over the nut on the stabilizer jack.
4. Lower the Jack
-
Turn the crank clockwise to lower the jack toward the ground.

Continue turning slowly until the foot of the jack touches the ground.
5. Use a Block if Needed
-
If the ground is uneven or there is a dip:
-
Place a block or leveling pad under the jack so it can reach the ground.

6. Lightly Tighten
-
Once the jack touches the ground, turn the crank about ¼ turn more.

This adds light pressure to stabilize the trailer.
Important:
-
Do not over-tighten or extend the jack too much.

Stabilizer jacks are only meant to reduce movement, not to:
-
Lift the trailer
-
Level the trailer
-
7. Repeat for the Other Jacks
-
Perform the same process on the remaining three corners.
Your trailer should now feel stable with less bouncing when you walk inside.
Stowing the Stabilizer Jacks (Before Leaving)
8. Raise Each Jack

Place the crank on the nut again.
-
Turn counterclockwise to raise the jack.
9. Fully Retract
-
Raise the jack until it is completely up (stowed position).
10. Secure It
-
Give the crank one extra small turn (about ¼ turn) to ensure it is secure.
11. Check All Four Jacks
-
Confirm that all four stabilizer jacks are fully stowed before driving.

Always level the trailer first using ramps or levelers, then deploy stabilizer jacks.

Jacks are for stability only, not leveling or lifting.
