My solar charger is not charging my battery

1. Check the Solar Disconnect Breaker

Locate the solar disconnect breaker.

Press the yellow button on the front.
-
Push the yellow flag back inside the housing to reset it.

Check if your batteries start charging.
2. Use the Victron Connect App

Open the Victron Connect app on your phone.

Use the information on the sticker near the charge controller to connect.

Check for any error messages or alerts.
-
Common issues the app might show:

Not enough sunlight (cloudy weather)
-
Solar panels covered by debris
-
System protection mode
-
3. Inspect Charge Controller Connections

Locate the charge controller.
-
Find the two sets of red and black wires connected to it.

Make sure all wires are:

Secure
-
Tight (not loose or moving)
-
4. Check Battery Connection

Find the side of the controller labeled “Battery.”
-
Locate the battery positive (red wire).
-
Follow that red wire back to the battery.
-
At the battery:
-
Ensure the wire is still attached to the ring terminal
-
Make sure the terminal is tight and not moving
-
5. Contact Support

If none of the steps above fix the issue, contact your support team for more advanced troubleshooting.
